Please read these terms carefully. By purchasing a Now Mold Testing kit, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Health Concerns

• Now Mold Testing does not represent the opinions or expertise of licensed medical providers. Any health concerns should be discussed with an appropriate licensed medical provider.
• Mold is a highly variable issue that can take many forms. Impacts caused by mold may vary with time, weather, and other fluctuating environmental conditions. Now Mold Testing does not make any claims regarding specific health impacts caused by select mold species.

Testing Scope & Accuracy

• Mold results only indicate the presence or severity of mold at the time of sampling. The presence of mold may change over time. Sampling results do not reflect the presence of mold before or after the time of sampling.
• The Now Mold Testing sampling kit is a limited sampling tool and should not be used in place of a comprehensive in-person mold inspection or home assessment. Although Now Mold Testing offers comprehensive mold analysis and consultation services, thorough in-person assessments are deemed to yield the best results.
• Mold conditions may vary throughout a home and property. Results only reflect the mold presence in the area or materials sampled.
• Accuracy of results depends on proper sample collection, handling, and return shipping. Now Mold Testing is not responsible for any errors, contamination, or invalid data resulting from improper use or handling of the testing kit.

Results & Interpretation

• A result indicating low or non-detectable mold levels does not guarantee the complete absence of mold in the tested environment. Mold may be present in surrounding areas or below reasonable detection limits.
• Quantified results are derived from mold sampling information and thus may fluctuate or differ from real-world numerical calculations. All quantified results should be used relatively and comparably to other results.

Regulatory Standards

• At present, there are no federal laws or regulations regarding the assessment of mold in the U.S.A. We adhere to best industry practices regarding mold sampling, testing, and assessment. Now Mold Testing does not claim to follow any specific regulatory or health standard.

State Regulations

• Select states have specific regulations regarding the testing and assessment of mold. Florida, Texas, New York, and Washington, D.C. have regulations regarding the credentials of mold assessors. Now Mold Testing will not provide service to these areas unless we hold the proper licensing or registration.

Financial Liabilities

• Now Mold Testing is not responsible for any financial decisions or losses made based on test results. This includes, but is not limited to, property purchases, sales, remediation activities, insurance claims, or product purchases.

Shipping & Handling

• Now Mold Testing is not responsible for any delays, damage, or loss of samples that may occur during the shipping process. Samples received in a compromised condition may not be processed, or may yield unreliable results. Customers will be notified if these shipping errors occur.

Equipment Return

• Sample reception and analysis are contingent upon the return of all loaned sampling equipment, including but not limited to air sample pumps, battery packs, cords, and other reusable components provided by Now Mold Testing. If the required sampling equipment is not returned within the specified time frame and in proper working condition, Now Mold Testing reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to withhold, delay, or decline laboratory analysis of any submitted samples until all loaned equipment has been returned. If the equipment is not returned after reasonable notice, Now Mold Testing may treat the service order as incomplete and may refuse analysis without refund.

Turnaround Time

• Report turnaround times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to laboratory volume, sample condition, or other external factors. The addition of extra reporting or consultation services may increase turnaround time.

No Clearances / Remediation Certification

• Results yielded from Now Mold Testing kits do not certify a property to be free of mold, safe for occupancy, or as completion of post-remediation clearance testing. Sampling services can only be used to relatively assess these criteria without regulatory input.

Intended Use

• Now Mold Testing kits are intended solely for at-home mold testing purposes. Their results alone should not be used for legal proceedings, regulatory compliance, or insurance determinations. It is recommended to pursue expert on-site assessments or to seek professional consultation for these purposes.
